Recent clashes between cattle herders and farming communities in Eastern Equatoria State have resulted in at least 35 fatalities. The United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) has expressed deep concern over the escalating violence and is urging all parties to exercise restraint and engage in dialogue to address the root causes of the conflict.
